Overview

The Mount Aconcagua (22842 ft = 6962 m) is the highest peak outside Asia. It is the most significant mountain in Americas.

The Aconcagua Expedition via the Polish Traverse gives the chance of non-technical climb. You will get experience to test your endurance at high altitude without the complexities of glacier travel, but still in a full-blown expedition context. This route goes below the Polish glacier. This ascent is similar to climbing along the normal route, but it does not involve any hiking on the glacier.

The flexible program of our tour which includes numerous inclement weather days in the schedule increases your chances of good acclimatization and successful ascent.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour

During your expedition in Aconcagua, you will encounter a very wide range of temperatures and weather conditions. At one end of this range is the pleasantly warm and beautiful City of Mendoza, while at the other end of the spectrum is found the cold and often windy weather on the summit of Aconcagua.

The equipment you bring must function well in a wide variety of conditions. Your clothing should be warm, lightweight, dry quickly, and allow good freedom of movement. Adhere to the layering principle: several thin layers of insulation (rather than one thick one).

We will send you detailed list of expedition climbing gear after booking.

It was the best ever Aconcagua adventure we experienced. The team was well organized, extremely supportive, fun and trustworthy. Pablo was an amazing guide and Federico made everything to help us with all the arrangements from abroad. Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime!

We had the two days horse riding trip in Mendoza. Wonderful trip - our guide was excellent, multilingual leader, the gauchos were wonderful guys, the planning itself was extremely great! Breathtaking views and a superb experience. I will never forget our dinner in the clouds and this little adventure. Well worth the price.

We had an amazing horseback riding experience with Pablo. It was probably the best excursion we had during our trip. Views were spectacular and the gaucho lunch in the mountains was so unique. Highly recommend!
