Kyrgyzstan is one of the Central Asian countries where those who are interested in the local flavor and the indescribable beauty of natural resources should go on a tour. Most of the country is occupied by the Tien Shan Mountains, so mountain tourism and outdoor recreation are very developed here.
Kyrgyzstan is also interesting for tourists with its history. The Great Silk Road passed here, historical monuments of architecture remained. For example, in the north of the country, in the Chui Valley, the Burana Tower has been preserved from the XI century to the present day. Group sightseeing tours are organized here. This place is interesting not only for its history: the tower is located in a picturesque place surrounded by mountains.
Most of the tourists who come to Kyrgyzstan on vacation end up in Bishkek, the northern capital of the country. This green city with its parks, gardens and numerous monuments has still preserved the Soviet spirit, closely mixed with Asian culture. Rest here is inexpensive: hotel prices are quite affordable for Russians. One of the most interesting objects in the city is the Dordoi market. There is a plentiful selection of Chinese export products — from clothing to electronics, including a variety of gadgets for home and life. A kind of "Aliexpress on the shelves", but with the opportunity to personally inspect and touch everything. The price is very low in most cases. This market was formed due to its proximity to China: entrepreneurs-traders have been doing business with Chinese suppliers for several decades.
Beach holidays in Kyrgyzstan
One of the main tourist points of the country is Lake Issyk-Kul. Literally, the name translates to "warm lake", which actually corresponds to reality. Vacationers from neighboring countries and far abroad flock here.
Of interest is not only the affordability of this resort, but also its picturesque location — in a mountainous area: between the high Terskey mountains (up to 5200 meters high) and dense spruce forests. The lake itself is warm and crystal clear. Its waters are compared to the ocean for their rich oxygen saturation. At different times of the day and depending on the weather, the color of the water surface changes from azure to dark blue.
There are many hotels in the vicinity of Issyk-Kul, some of which have their own access to the water. Here you can relax in medical sanatoriums: everything contributes to health improvement — air, water, climate. For vacationers, many hotels organize excursions around the surrounding area: you can walk to the gorge, along the mountain river, breathe the air filled with the aromas of mountain herbs.
