I was born and grew up in a small Goba town which is located in the heart of the Bale Mountains. I studied tour guiding service at one of the Tourism training institutes in Ethiopia. My passion for travelling and the fascinating historical and Natural attractions of my country have lead me into this profession which I adore. I have been working as a tour guide and organizer for more than 10 years all around Ethiopia, I've led and managed groups of tourists in all corners of Ethiopia, I have also worked with film crews, research groups, and professional photographers. Such wide experience has helped me to gain various related skills and now allows me to handle clients in a flexible, friendly and professional way. I have experience in different kinds of tours such as trekking, bird watching, Historical tours, Cultural attractions and many others. I am very enthusiastic to meet new people from different parts of the world and help them witness the amazing natural and historical destinations of my country and also organize their holidays in every corner of Ethiopia. I am also very excited to get to know other nationalities, and explore with them our culture tourism attractions.

    about provider
I highly recomandate this fantastic tour! It was an incredible experience. First, Armaye is very accommodating and strives to plan everything fairly so that you can fully enjoy your time. Second, you will meet an exceptional team who are incredibly kind and helpful. Throughout the trek, they work hard to ensure a wonderful experience. Our guide, Awal, is extremely knowledgeable and thanks to him, we were able to see many animals, including ethiopian wolves multiple times. He also took care of our luggage during the trek and was always available to provide us with travel advice in his country. Lastly, he even helped us find our way back, so a big thank you for everything.

    about provider
For the ultimate Bale Mountains experience, I highly recommend choosing these guys ! Our time in Bale Mountains with Armaye and his team was truly unforgettable. The park itself is a stunning natural haven, incredibly remote and untamed, even more so than the Simens Mountains. The landscapes are breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to spot the Ethiopian wolf on multiple occasions! Armaye's deep passion for nature and wildlife shines through in his extensive knowledge of Bale Mountains, his homeland. Throughout our journey in Ethiopia, he stood out as the best guide we encountered ! Idriss, the cook, impressed us with his culinary skills, preparing delicious meals amidst the wilderness with limited resources. Trekking with Armaye and his team in Bale Mountains is an unparalleled experience that should not be missed !
