Heritage Tour of Kyrgyzstan

Start your day with an early breakfast before ascending a small mountain, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire gorge. Today's adventure includes visits to the striking rock formations known as the “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart,” followed by a scenic walk through the gorge to a beautiful waterfall.

Next, we’ll explore the labyrinthine formations of the “Fairy Tale” eolian castles, where nature has sculpted the rocks into imaginative shapes. After taking in these wonders, we’ll continue our journey to the village of Kochkorka, where you'll enjoy a cozy overnight stay in a guesthouse. 

After breakfast, we'll embark on a journey to the breathtaking Son-Kul Lake, situated at an elevation of 3,016 meters above sea level. This remote and stunning location has long been cherished by shepherds and nomads, as evidenced by the ancient stone inscriptions and shrines scattered along the lake's shores. Each summer, shepherds bring their livestock to the area and live in traditional yurts with their families, continuing the age-old nomadic way of life.

We'll arrive at Son-Kul Lake by noon, where you'll settle into yurts, specially crafted for guests in the traditional Kyrgyz style. 

Have a rest and enjoy the surroundings of one of the most beautiful spot in Kyrgyzstan.

You'll spend the day by the lake, immersing yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz nomads.

As much as we’d love to linger by the serene Son-Kul Lake, our journey ahead is filled with exciting discoveries, making our final day truly memorable. We'll start by leaving the lake and descending through the stunning Kara-Keche Gorge, where we’ll take in the breathtaking landscapes along the Kekemeren River and Suusamyr Valley.

The Kekemeren River, born from the merging of the Suusamyr and Western Karakol rivers, winds its way through a narrow valley before joining the mighty Naryn River. The riverbanks are incredibly diverse—ranging from fields dense with bushes to vibrant sand screes—each showcasing the natural beauty of the region.

We’ll then enter the expansive Suusamyr Valley, where we’ll take a short walk to soak in the scenery before beginning our return journey to Bishkek. On the way, we’ll ascend the Too-Ashuu Pass, passing through a mountain tunnel that will lead us back to the Chu Valley. Finally, we’ll transfer to Bishkek, where you'll be taken to the airport for your flight home.
