What happens if I cancel my booking?

If you want to cancel the booking of the tour, please study the Cancellation Policy section on the tour page. Terms and conditions of cancellation may vary from one travel expert to another. You can cancel your booking through your personal account, as well as in a chat with the expert. If you want to do this a day after making the prepayment, you can get a 100% refund, the same applies if the trip didn't take place due to the fault of the provider. Keep in mind that according to the condition of the User Agreement, "if a traveler has made 3 refunds over last year, the next refund is deducted in the amount of $100."

When can I get the funds back if I cancel the tour?

Refunds take up to 30 or even 60 (depending on the bank and country of the User) calendar days, but usually this happens much earlier — within 7 business days.

I have made a prepayment. When do I have to pay the rest?

Take a look at the tour page to understand when you have to pay the rest of the tour price, or you may ask the provider about it. The remaining funds are deposited either through our online service, or directly to the tour provider.

Does the platform charge a commission when paying with a credit card?

No, it doesn't.
You do not pay any commission.
At the same time, the tour experts are ready to please you with the best prices for the tours.

Is it possible to hold a place without making a prepayment?

It depends on tour provider’s booking conditions. Anyway, you can send a request to the travel expert by writing to them in the chat. The tour expert will either confirm the temporary reserve (they may reserve a place in the group without prepayment) or reject the request.

How do I pay for the tour?

Take a few simple steps to pay for the tour. Go to the tour page, choose the suitable dates of the tour and click the "Book" button. This will open a form to fill in. Complete the form with required details. This information will be sent to the travel expert after the payment. If necessary, you can change the dates of the tour and the number of tourists. After submitting the form, click the "Book places" option and the payment page will open. Payment for the tour is possible from any bank card in the world.

Can I change one tour for another?

This can be done only in exceptional cases, and the cost of the refund is taken into account in accordance with the terms and conditions of the refund.

At what rate is the payment made?

The YouGo online platform is international. We sell our services to various people worldwide. Our guides arrange transfers, accommodation and excursions in different countries, so the price you see on the tour page may be mentioned in different currencies.

When paying for travel in the tour currency, the Stripe system typically adheres to the mid-market rates: the average between the buy and sell price of the currency. The actual exchange rate you pay ordinarily includes markups from financial institutions. When converting currencies on a payment or transfer, Stripe applies the daily mid-market rate provided by their service providers and takes an additional fee. The tour experts get payments in the tour currencies as well. The conversion rate of our partner banks, that process payment transfers, is higher than the market rate. Therefore, we have set our own rate, which exceeds the market rate, but at the same time it is an average rate for the tourist business. Our exchange rate is updated daily from 00:00 in accordance with the change in the market rate.

What should I do if I can't pay for the tour?

Please make sure there are no restrictions on your card:

  • there are enough funds on it;
  • there are no restrictive limits on online transactions;
  • it is not blocked;
  • you receive SMS messages with a password to confirm the payment.

If there are no restrictions on the card, report the problem to the service manager or the tour expert. You can contact our technical support service via chat on the website. Our team is always here to help you find the right solutions for your inquiries.

Is it possible to pay for the tour while there is the "Awaiting confirmation" status?

You can pay for your expert-designed tour only if it is confirmed. To speed up this process, send a chat message to your tour expert. In most cases, it helps.
